ABOUT
Caroline Calvano, born 2002, is a mixed media sculpture artist based in Milwaukee, WI. She completed her Bachelors in Fine Arts at Milwaukee Institute of Art and Design in 2024. Her practice engages with the themes of beauty, adornment, value, function, and the feminine body. Metal sculpture is a medium that allows her to assert her physical strength and investigate the connection between labor and value.Calvano has exhibited her work at Var Gallery, Tooth and Nail Gallery, and The Door County Contemporary Art Fair. She has been awarded Outstanding Student Achievement in Contemporary Sculpture Award by The International Sculpture Center.
